Nikhil Bumb


Nikhil has significant experience advising multi-national corporations, governments, international NGOs, foundations, and social enterprises on emerging markets and social impact strategies across issues, with a focus on global health, agricultural development, and financial inclusion. At FSG, Nikhil leverages his experience in social sector and shared value strategies to help clients across sectors grow and strengthen social impact. He is particularly interested in private sector engagement and cross-sector collaboration in global health and global development.

Before FSG

Nikhil started his career at ZS Associates as a marketing and strategy consultant for the healthcare and life sciences industries. During business school, he began exploring the intersection between business and society. Most recently, Nikhil helped build and launch Deloitte Consulting’s Social Impact Practice and also worked on multiple shared value projects with Technoserve’s Strategic Initiatives group. At Deloitte, his engagements spanned public, private, and social sector clients across issues areas including agricultural development, inclusive economies, humanitarian aid, economic development, and global health. In addition, Nikhil helped Medtronic develop a penetration strategy and framework for a shared value strategy addressing unmet clinical needs for underserved populations in emerging and frontier markets. He has also advised several nonprofits and social enterprises in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
