Abhishek Khanna specializes in applying market-based approaches and systems thinking to advance social and environmental change. He has over a decade of experience working with corporates, governments, and development funders across 10+ countries in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
At FSG, Abhishek co-leads the firm’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practice and works on applying the Shared Value approach to today’s global sustainability challenges across industries.
He has led projects in water and sanitation, waste management, climate change, consumer goods, and education. Most recently, he directed a global implementation research initiative across five countries, in partnership with national governments, to identify innovations in market-based water and sanitation models, methane abatement in urban waste systems, and regulation of packaged water.
