Mahesh has over 8 years of experience across management consulting and global development, and is particularly interested in market-based solutions to economic and social problems. Over his time at FSG, Mahesh has worked on multiple strategy engagements across health care, agriculture, impact investing, waste management, and market systems. He has experience in conducting field research with lower income consumers, developing and analyzing business models, developing initiative/program strategies, and conducting market landscape studies.
Prior to joining FSG, Mahesh worked with GSMA Mobile for Development, a unit within the global association of mobile operators that promotes new mobile technologies and commercial models for reaching underserved customers in the developing world. At GSMA, he managed a portfolio of grant projects and provided support to mobile operators in South Asia. He also has prior experience in operations consulting, venture capital, and microfinance.
