Anand came to FSG with experience in consulting, research, and strategy development and a belief that markets can help in our journey of development. Through his work at FSG, Anand hopes to contribute to developing solutions that help solve complex social challenges facing societies in the developing world. At FSG, Anand works with the inclusive markets approach. His primary responsibilities include research, analysis, and strategy development. At present, he is working on a program aimed at improving the quality of early childhood education for low-income households in India and helping develop a scalable business model for the same.
Anand joined FSG upon graduating from the Indian School of Business. Before he went back to school, Anand worked with Edelman India’s Public Affairs practice, advising clients on public policy, politics, stakeholder engagement, and communications. He has worked on matters ranging from education, e-governance, bonded labor, Corporate Social Responsibility, and infrastructure. He has also worked with the Confederation of Indian Industry, where he helped develop a performance monitoring tool for tribal schools funded by the Government of India.
