Victor joins FSG with experience in public policy research, political organizing, philanthropy, and federal legislation, with a particular interest in catalyzing innovation and leveraging policy to create sustainable social change. He co-creates solutions with clients to help them better understand and design strategies to address and solve social problems. While a SEO intern at FSG in 2017, Victor worked with his case team to develop strategic recommendations and conducted research regarding place-based philanthropy. Victor is particularly interested in identifying cross-sector collaborations, community development, and addressing issues of social inclusion.
As an undergraduate student, Victor started a social impact coalition to connect organizations aiming to address social issues in the Pittsburgh Community. As the human rights policy coordinator at the Roosevelt Institute, Victor advised students across the country working on creating and advocating for policy changes pertaining to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion, immigration, and criminal justice. He also spent a semester interning in the U.S. House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee where he performed legislative research regarding public health, immigration, and international relations.
Victor also has experience working at the London Metropolitan University, Harlem Village Academies, and Ford Foundation. At LMU, Victor participated in establishing an archive for the working-class literature of the Federation of Worker Writers and Community Publishers. While at the Harlem Village Academies, he conducted research on the network’s operations and staff. At the Ford Foundation, Victor worked on the planning committee for an organization-wide week-long strategy meeting and completed projects for the Democracy, Rights and Justice Department.
