Ryan De Souza
At FSG, Ryan partners with the nation’s leading corporations and foundations to advance health equity. Illustrative engagements include helping a multibillion-dollar health plan explore opportunities to improve the health of Medicaid Managed Care members, facilitating the design of a health equity strategy for the philanthropic arm of a global biopharmaceutical company, and supporting a corporate health foundation’s effort to catalyze collaboration to improve the health of Idahoans. Ryan has also contributed to building the shared value field by co-authoring “Health Care and the Competitive Advantage of Racial Equity: How Advancing Racial Equity Can Create Business Value” (April 2019).
Immediately prior to arriving at FSG, Ryan developed, launched, and managed a consulting practice at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), a national not-for-profit association serving medical schools and teaching hospitals.
Prior to joining the AAMC, Ryan served in both management consulting and new product launch capacities at The Advisory Board Company, a research, technology, and consulting firm based in Washington, DC. While at the Advisory Board, Ryan provided consulting services to hospitals and health systems to improve operational and financial performance across revenue cycle and cost management terrains, built and managed a team of data and analytics specialists, and advanced innovation and new business opportunities through the design and launch of consulting services.
