Ryan De Souza
Ryan has experience in management consulting and nonprofit association management, building the capacity of organizations to fulfill their missions. Ryan is interested in systemic approaches to eliminating health disparities and improving health equity and population health. At FSG, Ryan helps clients identify opportunities to align and deepen the health promotion efforts of a diverse array of actors, including foundations, hospitals and health systems, health insurers, public agencies, and corporations.
Immediately prior to arriving at FSG, Ryan developed, launched, and managed a consulting practice at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), a national nonprofit member association serving medical schools and teaching hospitals.
Prior to joining the AAMC, Ryan served in both management consulting and new product launch capacities at The Advisory Board Company, a research, technology, and consulting firm based in Washington, DC. While at Advisory Board, Ryan provided consulting services to hospitals and health systems to improve operational and financial performance across revenue cycle and cost management terrains, built and managed a team of data and analytics specialists, and advanced innovation and new business opportunities through the design and launch of consulting services.
