FSG CEO John Harper will be speaking at a session called “Strategic, Rooted, and Responsive: Philanthropy’s Role in Advancing Justice Amid Shifting Contexts” at the ABFE Harambee Annual Conference in Atlanta.
Session Description: In a time of rapid political, social, and economic shifts, philanthropy must maintain long-term commitments to equity while strategically adapting. This session will explore how funders can leverage resources, influence, and activation to sustain equity efforts while remaining deeply rooted in community experiences. Leaders funding work in place will share strategies for navigating evolving contexts, strengthening philanthropy’s role in advancing racial and economic justice, and staying responsive to the shifting needs of grantee partners and communities.
