What We Do
As a mission-driven consulting firm, we believe that an understanding of systems should be followed by interventions that effect real change on the ground. Research becomes more meaningful when it translates into praxis. Above and beyond our work with clients, we have developed initiatives and programs with our partners to put the insights drawn from our projects into action. FSG has run multi-year programs to help improve early childhood learning outcomes in affordable private schools across India and to grow livelihood opportunities for women in India in non-traditional, high-growth sectors.

In 2020, FSG launched GLOW in India with the goal of helping to create more than 500,000 jobs for women from households with low income, increasing women’s participation and visibility in the workforce, and increasing gender parity in pay, promotions, and opportunities.
In 2015, FSG started the Program to Improve Private Early Education (PIPE) which aims to replace rote with activity based learning (ABL) in all 300,000 affordable private schools (APS) in India.
