Tarini joins FSG with a background in economics and has conducted research in multiple areas, including economics and technologies such as AI and IoT. She is also an international chess player with Woman International Master and FIDE Instructor titles. Tarini is currently working on a program to improve livelihood opportunities for women. She is intrigued by ideas that have the power to improve people’s lives in ways they themselves prefer.

Before FSG

Before joining FSG, Tarini worked as a volunteer with UNDP Ukraine towards the just transition of coal-mining towns after coal mine closures. She also volunteered with the Youth Press and Development Organisation (YPDO) in Zambia to find computer donors for students. Apart from that, Tarini worked (virtually) as a researcher at IIM Ahmedabad to explore the role of IoT in worker safety and productivity.

On Working at FSG

I feel lucky to be working with knowledgeable and hard-working individuals who are always ready to go the extra mile (multiple extra miles!) to create meaningful change. People at FSG have the ability to think about progress for everyone, beyond the realms of personal journeys.
