Ruchi joins FSG with a background in nonprofit management and effective philanthropy. She is deeply committed to empowering marginalized communities and creating innovative pathways through integrated DEI, novel metrics, and a systems approach. As a senior consultant, she brings diverse lived experiences, entrepreneurial rigor, and humble curiosity to her teams and clients at FSG.
Before FSG Ruchi’s passion to empower fringe stakeholders and community development led her to founding and running World for All Animal Care and Adoptions in Mumbai, India for a decade serving street animals in Mumbai and establishing the largest adoption platform. Through various externships like at the ASPCA in New York City, she augmented the quality of animal welfare in India. Afterward, Ruchi pursued her interest in effective philanthropy by engaging trusts, corporations, nonprofits, foundations, and consultancies in New York City through founding Prolific Powerful Philanthropy NYC, a community-based nonprofit. Here she conducted world café style events, roundtables, and mock problem-solving sessions for NYC-based organizations around topics like impact measurement, multidisciplinary approaches, and root cause assessment. Ruchi received her MBA in Sustainable Innovation from the University of Vermont, Grossman School of Business. During her time at UVM, she worked with private sector companies on base of the pyramid strategy and go-to-market strategy for LMIC’s through her consulting projects.
