Ragavijaya joins FSG with field experience in development sector and policy making and a postgraduate degree in liberal arts. As an Affordable Private Schools (APS) Coordinator at FSG, Ragavijaya is responsible for coordinating the field activities in Chennai for the Program to Improve Early Education (PIPE) in urban India.
Previously, Ragavijaya was working in Samaj Pragati Sahayog, a grassroot civil society based out of western Madhya Pradesh. As a programme officer, she was responsible for piloting a health awareness programme for the rural youth and also for conducting a large scale quality check in 54 health centers across the district. Prior to that, Ragavijaya was part of the Young India Fellowship Programme (a one-year multidisciplinary course) and holds a postgraduate degree in English from Stella Maris College, Chennai. During the Young India Fellowship, she took part in an 8-month long project with the UNFPA to create working modules for Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK), an initiative by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
