Pratiksha joins FSG with prior experience in education across various NGOs. At FSG, Pratiksha is currently working on the Program to Improve Private Early Education (PIPE), a six-year initiative that aims to improve the quality of the private sector’s preschool education service offerings to low-income families.
Prior to joining FSG, Pratiksha was a Teach for India fellow in an under-resourced government school in Mumbai. She taught 4th and 5th grade children during her fellowship and worked extensively with the communities to improve child learning outcomes. Pratiksha also worked on diverse projects involving various stakeholders from the communities to focus on the most pressing issues and increase awareness about the same. She started a parent empowerment project in her school which helped young mothers to learn basic English and also conducted workshops on financial literacy, career options, and destigmatizing mental health.
