Laura joins FSG with a strong track record in designing and coordinating impact-driven projects and initiatives. She works as part of case teams to help clients better understand and design solutions to social problems. Laura is particularly interested in collective impact, shared value, and global and economic development. She conducts primary and secondary research, performs quantitative and qualitative analyses, generates insights, and co-creates solutions.
Prior to FSG, Laura was a consultant for innovation and project design at the International Trade Centre, a joint agency of the UN and the WTO. There she worked on the inclusion of women, smallholder farmers, and refugees into international trade chains across a multitude of geographies. As part of the organization’s Innovation Lab, she facilitated the design of projects and initiatives across the organization and beyond. One of her recent projects was the creation of a partnership platform between UN agencies, NGOs, and the private sector in Geneva with the aim of accelerating their collective impact in reaching the SDGs.
During her studies, Laura worked for a Kenyan health care startup in fundraising for its Series A and developing its future strategy. She also worked for Germany’s international cooperation agency (GIZ) in developing its collaboration with the private sector. During her undergraduate studies, she created an ecologically sustainable food product line produced and sold by people with disabilities.
