Anindita joins FSG with project experience in the development sector, and an education in engineering and the liberal arts.
Role at FSG
As a consultant at FSG, Anindita is responsible for conducting research and analysis under various programmatic areas within the Inclusive Markets approach. She is currently involved with a project on improving urban sanitation in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India.
Anindita was a part of the project team of Social Emergence.Org and the MIT Laboratory for Social Machines, and worked towards creating a rural-based social network usable by non-literate people. Anindita also co-founded Project Healthizen, an app which is a government recognized channel for grievance redressal on community health and sanitation issues.
Anindita was a part of the Young India Fellowship Programme (a one-year multidisciplinary course) and holds an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from NIT, Surathkal. During her internship at the Young India Fellowship, Anindita was part of a team that designed strategy for a centre that caters to the needs of social enterprises in India.
