UBS Optimus Foundation  

The UBS Optimus Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable foundation established by UBS in 1999. It is committed to the well-being of children in need around the world and supports initiatives to improve the education, protection, and health of these children. The foundation offers UBS clients a broad range of ways to get involved in charitable, humanitarian projects. Contributions from over 10,500 donors have enabled the Optimus Foundation to provide more than 100 million Swiss francs in support to 230 projects in 65 countries over the last 10 years.

FSG has helped the UBS Optimus Foundation to:

• Develop a new grantmaking strategy centered around a value chain model which has made it easier for the foundation to achieve overriding objectives in projects and, consequently, to realize long-term value added for future generations
