Pfizer engaged FSG to help develop a shared value strategy in Africa to better align Pfizer’s market interests and social investment activities.

  • Develop a framework for effective pharmaceutical philanthropy based on benchmarking of competitors
  • Identify strategies to strengthen its engagement with critical multilateral organizations
  • Determine the promise of an antimalarial drug based on interviews with leading scientists and a review of the current state of treatment
  • Review its philanthropy portfolio and matching gift program, and identify improvements, define new programs, and develop an evaluation framework
  • Select the best grantees from over 300 applications for its new International HIV/AIDS program. FSG created selection criteria and recommended the top 15 candidates for the new program
