Discovering better ways to solve social problems

Management Sciences for Health (MSH)

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) works collaboratively with health care policymakers, managers, providers, and consumers to help close the gap between what is known about public health problems and what is done to solve them. MSH seeks to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of health What We Do by improving management systems, promoting access to What We Do, and influencing public policy.

FSG has helped Management Sciences for Health with the following:

  • FSG designed and developed an organization-wide, streamlined, flexible, and sustainable approach to results management. The approach is relevant to the entire project life-cycle: including project planning, in-country implementation, results measurement, project oversight, and communicating results across the field
  • FSG helped MSH understand the implications of changing United States funding patterns in global health, as well as to identify new opportunities with European funders, foundations, and corporations. Based on dozens of interviews, FSG identified both donor-specific development strategies and operational enhancements to MSH's business development processes
