Fairfield County Community Foundation

The Fairfield County Community Foundation (FCCF) promotes the growth of effective philanthropy to strengthen the communities of Fairfield County. FCCF serves as a leader, catalyst, and resource for philanthropy, and enables donors to create and manage charitable funds. FCCF also identifies and addresses community needs through initiatives, partnerships, and strategic grantmaking. The Foundation’s assets are approaching $150 million.

FSG has helped FFCF:

• Develop a five year strategic plan
• Design specific strategies to improve donor reach and engagement with the foundation
• Identify and craft strategies in areas where the foundation will exercise proactive community leadership and hold itself accountable for bringing about change:
  • Affordable Housing
  • Public School Leadership
  • Non profits serving Immigrants
  • Economic Security for Low Income Working Women
• Establish a plan for sustainability, including development targets
• Evolve staff and board structure to align with goals and objectives
• Develop an evaluation design for the foundation to monitor on-going progress against the strategic plan
