The California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) seeks to ensure that all Californians have access to affordable, quality health care. CHCF commissions research and analysis, publishes and disseminates information, convenes stakeholders, and funds development of models aimed at improving health care delivery and financing systems.

California HealthCare Foundation - Vision for EHR Adoption

FSG worked with CHCF to develop a statewide vision for leveraging federal stimulus funds to help California make a dramatic leap forward in the adoption of health information technology.

FSG has also helped the California HealthCare Foundation to:

  • Refine its strategic direction by establishing more explicit foundation-wide programmatic goals and an overarching evaluation framework. This was achieved by building on interviews with staff, board members, grantees, community leaders, and health care experts across the state.
