Role at FSG

Rebecca is looking forward to working with nonprofits, foundations, and corporations in their pursuit of shared value and sustainable, collective impact in the areas of global development and global health.

Before FSG

Prior to joining FSG, Rebecca worked with nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C. and their international counterparts to plan, manage, and evaluate evidence-based interventions in the democracy and governance sector. With primary expertise in sub-Saharan Africa, Rebecca worked with international governments and civil society organizations to increase government transparency and effectiveness and citizen engagement in the democratic process. In 2008, Rebecca helped establish an Office of Evaluation at the International Republican Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan organization supporting democratic processes abroad. In her role as the first Evaluation Officer at the Institute, Rebecca created an Institute-wide training program in program design and evaluation, and worked closely with all levels of management in more than 70 countries to design tools and systems that help ensure more effective, innovative, and measurable programs. On Working at FSG

"Social change doesn’t just happen. Whether it’s rethinking the way corporations do business, how nonprofits carry out their work, or how foundations and governments support them, catalytic change requires innovative thinking, a willingness to listen to the data, and a commitment to continuous evaluation and learning. I found all three of those at FSG, as well as a cadre of passionate, motivated, and optimistic individuals who bring to the table their experience working in the most challenging sectors and yet still believe that real social change is possible in our lifetime. I am thrilled to bring my expertise in global development and evaluation to the firm and am excited to work with—and learn from—our clients."
