Neeraja Bhavaraju
Overview
Neeraja comes to FSG with wide-ranging experience in management consulting, socially-responsible finance, international development, and nonprofit management. Like many at FSG, she hopes to bring all of those disparate worlds together to tackle some the most complex and difficult problems our society faces today.
Role at FSG
At FSG, Neeraja has helped several corporate clients create shared value strategies. She has worked with a major global food products company to understand potential environmental and social threats to their production of rice products in the Mississippi Delta region. Neeraja also worked with a pharmaceutical company to identify shared value best practices amongst industry peers. She is excited to continue working with FSG’s clients on creating shared value and is also looking forward to further involvement in the firm’s international development and global health work.
Before FSG
Prior to joining FSG, Neeraja explored many facets of the ever-expanding gray area between businesses and society. As a member of the Social Sector Practice at McKinsey & Company, Neeraja worked with foundations and nonprofits to strengthen and measure their social impact. Neeraja was also part of a small team that founded The Blue Fund, a socially-responsible investment firm that incorporated the political activities of companies into investment screens, where she oversaw research and marketing efforts.
